Our Services

Here’s a little more about what we do and what services we offer at Support For Your Life. Our goal is to help you feel seen, heard, and accepted.

Therapy Services

INDIVIDUAL THERAPY

Individual therapy offers a private space to share your story and feel understood. Our clinicians help you gain clarity, resilience, and new coping strategies, empowering you to face life's challenges with strength and insight. Each session is tailored to your unique needs, whether you're working on self-awareness, working with depression, anxiety, or trauma, or simply looking to improve your quality of life. Your mental health is just as important as your physical health– as essential as a daily task like brushing your teeth. Just like you don't need to be in pain to see a dentist, or out of shape to join a gym, you don’t have to be experiencing a mental disorder in order to see a clinician. Therapy is for everyone, at any stage of life.

COUPLES THERAPY

Relationship trouble? Arguing over the same things over and over? Feeling betrayed? We can help. Our clinicians specialize in helping couples maintain healthy connections, improve communication, increase trust, and enjoy your relationship again. Our practice is open-minded, inclusive, and accepting of all couples and groups whether you are in a straight, queer, poly, open, kink, or other relationship.

FAMILY THERAPY

Family therapy provides a supportive environment where families can grow closer and resolve conflicts together. You may be a part of more than one family system. Some families we're born with, others we choose, and some may feel like we've been stuck with them. In family therapy, we work on improving relationship dynamics within the group by exploring behaviors, patterns, conflicts, and ways of communicating. Our clinicians are dedicated to helping your family create a more harmonious home environment.

ADOLESCENT AND CHILD THERAPY

If you're worried about your child's emotions or behavior, you are not alone. Our clinicians can help with issues kids face at different ages. For young children, it may be aggression, defiance, tantrums, meltdowns, or issues at school or home with other siblings. For teens, it could be depressive symptoms, anger, anxiety, perfectionism, sleep issues, eating disorders, drug and alcohol use, or feeling powerless. Childhood and adolescence can be challenging. Let's help your kids and teens, and your family, feel better and enjoy your connections more. Adolescent and child therapy provides a supportive environment for young individuals to work through challenges and grow. Our clinicians help them navigate difficulties, build resilience, and discover effective ways to cope and thrive.

PLAY THERAPY

Play therapy is to children what individual therapy is to adults. These sessions use play to help them express their feelings more easily through toys rather than words. Play is a child's natural form of expression. Play therapy allows them to express themselves in the way they are most comfortable.

PARENT COACHING

Ready to put the joy back in parenting? Parent coaching offers personalized support to navigate the ups and downs of raising children. Our coaches provide practical strategies and encouragement, helping you address common concerns like how you respond to your child’s behavior, daily routines, power struggles, anger, discipline, homework or chores, or other concerns. Being a parent isn’t easy– and we’re here to help.

CO-PARENT SUPPORT

We help you and your ex move forward and find hope after the divorce. You may be experiencing a sense of loss, grief, discouragement, bitterness, or other strong emotions. Co-parenting can be intimidating and navigating it can be complex and delicate. No matter where you are in the process, we want to be a resource to you. We’re here to help you create stability and collaboration.

CAREGIVER SUPPORT

Do you help another person with one or more tasks such as shopping, home chores, finances, transportation, medication management, bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, or more?  Caregivers can be family members, friends, neighbors, or have any other type of relationship. Caregivers, we are here to help you navigate responsibilities, care for yourself, and avoid compassion fatigue and burnout.

TELEHEALTH

Get the support you need, when and where you need it. Telehealth provides convenient access to therapy and evaluations from the comfort of home, ensuring continuity of care and personalized support based on your unique needs. It allows you to learn and grow in your own environment. Best of all, it eliminates challenges of physically getting to the office. Maybe you are sick but still want therapy or a global pandemic takes over, you will still be able to access support.

EVALUATIONS

AUTISM EVALUATIONS (ALL AGES)

Autism, or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), is a neurodevelopmental condition characterized by challenges with social communication and interaction, as well as restricted interests and repetitive behaviors. Our autism evaluations involve a comprehensive approach, including detailed physical assessments, thorough review of medical and developmental history, and interviews with the individual and their family. These evaluations aim to provide valuable insights and personalized strategies to support individuals with autism in navigating daily life with understanding and empowerment, fostering their growth and well-being.

ADHD EVALUATIONS (ALL AGES)

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (or ADHD) is a common developmental disorder that begins in childhood and often lasts into adulthood. During the screening process, we will do a physical exam, review medical history and other health history, and interview the individual and/or their parents. ADHD evaluations help identify strategies and support to empower clients of all ages to thrive in school, work, and daily life with renewed focus and confidence.

NEUROPSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATIONS

Neuropsychology focuses on the relationship between your brain and your behavior. Our highly trained clinicians work with patients whose brains may have been affected by an injury, concussion, or disease like dementia. Using the information from an evaluation, we can help you recover, adapt, and thrive.

PHYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATIONS

Psychological evaluations assess learning, behavior, social skills, mood, anxiety, and cognitive processing. They offer valuable insights into emotional and behavioral patterns and can be used to arrive at a diagnosis, guide treatment, identify learning disabilities, and assess social skills, anger, anxiety, and depression.

NEUROCOGNITIVE REHABILITATION

Neurocognitive rehabilitation supports individuals in recovering and enhancing cognitive function after injury or illness, promoting independence and quality of life through targeted therapies and interventions. We can help you change habits and behaviors, rewire your emotional brain, improve your brain health, and embrace and understand neurodiversity.
